The AIU Study Abroad Program

Our history, our focus and our future

The AIU Study Abroad Program was created in 1989 to serve students of Design, Media and Fashion who had a limited range of study abroad program options.

Since then, the popularity and success of our program has resulted in the expansion of career-focused academic journeys to an ever-increasing itinerary of exciting international destinations. The AIU Study Abroad Program has developed a strong reputation for our personal approach to international study, including:
  • Pre-departure counseling and advisement to students and institution representatives.
  • On-site student support upon arrival in chosen destinations.
  • A strong curriculum that offers many academic options for career-focused students.

When you participate in the AIU Study Abroad Program, you'll be academically and socially integrated with both degree-seeking and other study abroad students from around the globe.

From the time you submit your enrollment application until you board your flight to your chosen destination, our experienced team members will be available to assist you. Upon your arrival, our Student Services staff will work to ensure you feel welcome, comfortable and secure in your new study environment.

American InterContinental University blends strong academics, a multicultural staff and student body, and personalized guidance from on-site student services. We are very proud of the academic and cultural opportunities we offer to students seeking a way to enhance their career-focused education with applicable, real-world experiences. We invite you to explore the reasons to consider taking your education to new places via the AIU Study Abroad Program!

See the world. Expand your horizons. Live your dreams.
